District 11 is a part of the Michigan Interscholastic Horsemanship Association and follow the rules and regulations set forth by the MIHA Board of Directors. District 11 holds two Junior High meets and three High School meets. All meets are located at the Shiawassee County Fairgrounds.
MIHA has 2 seasons, a Junior High season that occurs in the spring and a High School season that occurs in the fall. The Junior High Season includes 18 classes at each meet. The High School Season includes 17 classes at each meet.
District 11 is currently made up of 8 Junior High Teams and 15 High School teams. Current participating junior teams are: Brighton, Corunna, Durand, Flushing, Fowlerville, Goodrich, Perry and Pinckney. Current participating high school teams are: Brighton, Corunna, Durand, Flushing, Fowlerville, Grand Blanc, Goodrich, New Lothrop, Northville, Ovid-Elsie, Owosso, Perry and Pinckney.
